TGS 16-19 Study Programme

The TGS study programmes core offer and aims are for either an A level or BTEC vocational focus, with work experience, where feasible. 

The TGS programme ensures that the mandatory 580hrs+ are covered in the students programme.

The study programme is personalised to the prior attainment of each student, with clear study and/or employment goals reflecting the student’s prior attainment, showing  progression in learning, and includes:

• Substantial qualifications or work experience

• Maths and English for students who have not achieved grade 9 to 4, A*-C GCSE in these subjects by age 16

• High-quality work experience

• Added value non-qualification activity( eg Tutor time/volunteering/mentoring etc)
