Year 13 Amsterdam Trip

On the February enrichment day, several year 13 students travelled to Amsterdam. It was certainly an experience. After boarding the plane at Stansted, at a very early hour, we were unfortunately unable to take off due to windy conditions and the flight was delayed by 2 hours. We eventually arrived in sunny Amsterdam and made our way by tram to the Anne Frank Museum (which was an incredible insight into the terrible things she and others like her had to endure in the Second World War). After a well needed lunch stop, we boarded a canal boat for a tour of the city. We then had a short amount of time to explore before making our way back to the airport, where we endured another delay! Despite the hiccups to our travel times, it was an incredibly fun day.
